The Young Ecosocialist Caucus Steering Committee is up for election!
Timeline
We are opening nominations for a period between February 20th through March 2nd @ 11:59 PM PST. Elections will take place March 3rd from 11:59 pm PST to March 9th at 11:59 pm PST. In order to run, nominees must be dues-paying members by March 3rd! Become one now at http://yesgp.org/join.
Positions up for election
- Co-Chair (One year term)
- Education & Member Support Committee (EduCom) Chair (One year term)
- Finance Committee (FinCom) Chair (One year term)
- Media Committee (MediaCom) Chair (One year term)
- National Committee Delegate (One year term)
- National Committee Delegate (Six month term)
- Alternate National Committee Delegate (Six month term)

VII. OFFICERS
7.1 Time Commitment to Organizing: While varying in responsibilities, all steering committee members are expected to put in 10 or more hours of work each week. The steering committee is a hands-on body of committed Green organizers whose labor fuels our party and the movements we participate in. Without this level of commitment to work, the caucus operations are inhibited to the detriment of the rest of the steering committee, the caucus as a whole, our constituencies, and the party. Members who have other party or outside commitments are encouraged to understand and consider these requirements prior to seeking office within the Youth Caucus.
How to participate
If you are a dues-paying member before March 3rd at 11:59pm Pacific Time, when voting opens on March 4th,, you will receive an email with voting instructions.
If you are not a dues-paying member and would like to become one, you can pay your annual dues at https://www.yesgp.org/donate
