Why are you a member of the Green Party, and why did you join the Youth Caucus?

We need a grassroots independent left party in opposition to the two corporate parties that dominate and serve capital. To me the Green Party is a valuable project to invest my organizing energy because the party is ultimately about raising up Principles and making connections across many struggles political, social and economic.

When did you become a member of the Green Party?

2016? But have always supported independent and socialist politics and candidates.

Which of the Green Party’s four pillars or Ten Key Values are you most passionate about and why?

Ecological Wisdom is a powerful value to me. I think a politics and worldview, that's informed and grounded in nature, is strong and meaningful. The way our culture abstracts our humanity out of nature i feel is major factor in how off track our society has found itself to be.

Briefly describe your professional and personal skills, interests, affiliations, experience, and education you have that might be relevant to the position you are applying for.

I am a working class american that works in the "green" economy my experiences every day are informing me on how the capitalist political economy we have now is not functioning. I was a teenager when i fist began educating my self about socialist struggle and ideas i believe i have some knowledge i can distill via chairing the Edu committee. I am persistent at my organizing work though i can be stretched at times across different projects.

Given the current state of the caucus, how do you intend to apply your skills to improve and expand it, based on the seat you are running for?

I'd like to create educational literature that can be mass produced for our campaigns across the country. First would focus on a succinct brochure explaining student debt cancellation for rallying YES campus chapters around.

Do you already hold other roles within GPUS, your state party, or any other political organization? If so, will you be able to prioritize Youth Caucus work over other work you are doing?

I am currently YES cochair(not much longer), a member of the Peace Action Committee, organizing with the March on the Pentagon, and organizing locally against a LNG pipeline over our watershed. YES work is some of my favorite organizing work because it's very flexible and a way to connect with comrades across the nation.

How can you help the caucus to engage its membership base and get our members plugged into caucus organizing work?

Producing enticing educational materials and organizing calls.

Is there anything else you would like caucus members to know regarding your candidacy?

I worked hard with our steering committee to make our caucus transition from Young Greens to Young Ecosocialists over the last few months as cochair. I'm proud of that work and grateful to fellow chairs that have been working entirely self motivated to strengthen our caucus.

National Committee Delegate (Two Seats Elected)

Why are you a member of the Green Party, and why did you join the Youth Caucus?

To lend a hand in striving for a healthier future.

When did you become a member of the Green Party?

This year.

Which of the Green Party’s four pillars or Ten Key Values are you most passionate about and why?

To be honest, it is a tie between ecological wisdom and social justice.

Briefly describe your professional and personal skills, interests, affiliations, experience, and education you have that might be relevant to the position you are applying for.

Currently, I work as a judicial clerk and have a bachelor's degree in legal studies. I've sat as president for a local nonprofit for two years and a student organization, successfully completing my terms. Notibly, I have served in student government, ran for state office and fight for treaty rights as an indigenous human to Turtle Island. Also, I'm a community organizer, Protector and zealous advocate for an equitable future. Learning is a part of any organization and I value that aspect.

Given the current state of the caucus, how do you intend to apply your skills to improve and expand it, based on the seat you are running for?

I'll apply them wholeheartedly for the common goals we set for our caucus. Feedback from colleagues will also determine how my skill set would be applied, for the greater good.

Do you already hold other roles within GPUS, your state party, or any other political organization? If so, will you be able to prioritize Youth Caucus work over other work you are doing?

As it stands, not currently. However, as the indigenous caucus develops I'll be participating within that group too. My priorities will be front of mind, the youth caucus will be amongst them.

How can you help the caucus to engage its membership base and get our members plugged into caucus organizing work?

First, I'd have to ask what are we in most need of. However, locally there are several educational institutions, metro areas and ecominded community members that we can engage with. Focusing on grass roots will be front and center.

Is there anything else you would like caucus members to know regarding your candidacy?

We are in this together. Let's rise to the occasion within the Green Party and mold the future we want to see, live and leave behind.

Why are you a member of the Green Party, and why did you join the Youth Caucus?

The Green Party platform matches my policy preferences and actually reflects the will of the people and not corporations.

When did you become a member of the Green Party?

2018 most recently. Maybe 2013 before that?

Which of the Green Party’s four pillars or Ten Key Values are you most passionate about and why?

Grassroots Democracy because I trust in the people.

Briefly describe your professional and personal skills, interests, affiliations, experience, and education you have that might be relevant to the position you are applying for.

Community Organizer for Clean Air Council. Many years of informal organizing experience.

Given the current state of the caucus, how do you intend to apply your skills to improve and expand it, based on the seat you are running for?

I plan to keep the caucus fully informed on National discussions and to represent it well in pushing the NC discussion.

Do you already hold other roles within GPUS, your state party, or any other political organization? If so, will you be able to prioritize Youth Caucus work over other work you are doing?

Green Party of Allegheny County chair. I prioritize my local.

How can you help the caucus to engage its membership base and get our members plugged into caucus organizing work?

I am planning on staying in touch with the caucus members of my state to encourage their involvement.

Why are you a member of the Green Party, and why did you join the Youth Caucus?

As a young Marxist I was eager to join a party that had real platforming ability as well as a leftist tilt. The youth caucas appealed to me immediately as a group of self-identified TRUE socialists.

When did you become a member of the Green Party?

October 2018

Which of the Green Party’s four pillars or Ten Key Values are you most passionate about and why?

Future Focus and Sustainability. This is a key issue to me primarily as a Marxist since most of my political ambitions lie in the future of class struggle but also I heavily identify with this tenant simply as a person. Firstly, without Sustainability any other ambitions or goals are made moot. Secondly, I will live to see the disasters that capitalism and its failures will bring and I will do anything to abate that.

Briefly describe your professional and personal skills, interests, affiliations, experience, and education you have that might be relevant to the position you are applying for.

I am well attuned to the politics at every level as well as educated on how those politics are enacted and debated. As a delegate I believe I could bring an interesting position to the table.

Given the current state of the caucus, how do you intend to apply your skills to improve and expand it, based on the seat you are running for?

As a new member of the GP, a former democrat, and general newcomer to the leftist community I believe I am uniquely qualified to reach out to people in the center and bring them to our side on the left

Do you already hold other roles within GPUS, your state party, or any other political organization? If so, will you be able to prioritize Youth Caucus work over other work you are doing?

I do not hold any official roles in my local chapter

How can you help the caucus to engage its membership base and get our members plugged into caucus organizing work?

As previously stated I believe I’m uniquely able to speak to people on the center and bring them left. I am also skilled in most social media platforms and believe we can use that to our advantage in all that we do.

Is there anything else you would like caucus members to know regarding your candidacy?

No response.
